The food was great, professional service with attention to customers needs . My son dropped his knife and the server rushed to bring him a new one without us asking. The price is acceptable for the environment. Will highly recommend

Excellent Fresh African food. Value for money. Non A.C. restaurant. Having traditional African food as speciality.

I'm an American in Benin writing this. The resteraunt/maquis is one of the best contemporary Beninesse restaurants in the country from the perspective of taste. Food is high quality and well prepared. For those with western pallets who want to venture beyond the boring hotel resterauts, this is the place to get your feet wet with traditional Beninesse dishes. They are known for their braised fish and chicken. They make great plantains too.The ambiance is a nice covered outdoor seating area. No a/c but it's not needed most of the time. Food takes some time to come but it's worth the wait and prices are good again from a western perspective.I've been to Benin 4 times now and this is our most favorite place to eat. Never disappointed. If you are a tourist, come by for a great local meal.
